The Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce will conduct its 11th annual Winter Wonderland fundraiser - one of its biggest of each year - from 6 to 10 p.m. on Nov 2 at the Antelope Hills Golf Course Centennial Center, 1989 Clubhouse Drive, Prescott.

"We moved it to a central location this time because we are the Chino Valley Area Chamber," said Tracie Schimikowsky, the chamber's director of operations. "We also serve Prescott, Prescott Valley and Dewey members."

Robin Christie, chamber board chairwoman and a member of the Winter Wonderland committee for six years, said, "We need a venue that is big enough to hold this event. The Centennial Room came to our attention when we had the golf tournament there" during the summer.

The chamber has 327 members, with about half from Chino Valley and the remainder from the other communities, she said.

Winter Wonderland will have a Christmas-time theme, and will feature a sit down dinner, a no-host bar, entertainment from the Improvitonians of the Prescott Center of the Arts, door prizes and a silent auction, Schimikowsky said. Guests will have a choice of a prime rib or chicken marsala, and tiramisu for dessert.

Tickets are $40 per person, and participants can pay $100 for a "table top sponsorship" to decorate a table for eight people.

Oct. 25 is the deadline for buying tickets, which are available at the chamber office at 175 E. Road 2 South, or from chamber board members.

Tickets will not be for sale at the door, Schimikowsky said. The venue will have a maximum seating for 140 people.

"This event ... kicks off the holiday season. It is a time for us to come together as the business community and have an evening of fun and a sense of community," Christie said.

For more information, call the chamber at 928-636-2493.
