• The Chino Valley Town Council meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, 202 N. Highway 89. Agendas are posted 24 hours in advance. Call 636-2646.

• Chino Valley Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meet the first Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m., at the Aquatic Center, 1615 N. Road 1 East. Call 636-9780.

• The Chino Valley Planning and Zoning Commission meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, 202 N. Highway 89. The commission posts agendas 24 hours in advance. Call 636-2646.

• The Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees meets the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at various locations. The district office posts agendas 24 hours in advance. Call 636-2458.

• Chino Valley Historical Society meets the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Chino Valley Senior Center, Road 1 West and Butterfield Road. All are welcome. For information, call Kay at 636-6011.

• Chino Valley Noontimers Lions, now meet at CD's Cattle Co., 1150 N. Hwy 89, in Chino Valley, the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, noon, each month. They recruit men and women. Call Marie at (928) 848-3489.

• Chino Valley Lioness Club meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church on Road 2 North. All ladies are welcome.

• Mountain Spinner's & Weavers Guild meet third Saturday of each month, at 9 a.m., at American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Dr. Prescott. Programs begins at 10:30 a.m..

• Chino Valley Head Start Preschool has an infant/toddler program, a first time/teen mom program, and a preschool/daycare summer sessions. Open to children 0-5 years and free to income-eligible families in the tri-city area. Located at Road 1 West and Palomino Road. Call Toni Flournoy at 636-1076.
