PACO plans two big holiday events

The Paulden Area Community Organization is joining with Paulden Churches United to bring two events to the Paulden Community Center.

This first is Paulden Churches United "Spirit of Christmas" at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9. It is a wonderful presentation and singalong by Paulden area children, and a great way to celebrate the Christmas season with friends and neighbors in Paulden.

PACO is providing the refreshments and prizes for a drawing for whoever brings donations for the Paulden Food Bank.

PACO is seeking donations to help purchase supplies, baked goods, coffee and drinks, and door prizes for the event.

PACO is especially seeking non-perishable items for the Paulden Food Bank to help local people in need during the holiday season. Donations for the food bank will be accepted at both events.

The second event is the PACO Free Holiday Dinner for the entire community of Paulden from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.

PACO will serve a traditional holiday dinner of turkey and ham with all the fixings free to everyone who wishes to join in for food and fellowship during this holiday season.

The Paulden Churches United is helping to prepare food and serving this wonderful dinner to the community.

PACO is seeking donations of turkeys, hams, drinks, desserts or monetary donations of any size to help with this dinner.

If there is a special holiday dish you wish to share with community, or if you you would like to help set up, serve or clean up, please let PACO know.

To donate or for more information on either of these holiday events, contact Jane Anderson at jane@northlink.com or call 928-636-9275.
