Benefit planned for CV cancer victim

The Prescott Chapter of the Heart Link Network is having a "Baubles, Bling and Things" charity lunch and silent auction fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the American Legion Post #40, the corner of Road 3 South and Highway 89 in Chino Valley. Lunch is $5 for adults and free for kids 1- to 3-years-old. The American Legion Auxiliary offers a Blue Plate special dinner for $7 from 5 to 7 p.m. Proceeds go to help Sherry Miller fight Cervical Cancer.

There will be free face painting for the kids.

Sherry lives in Chino Valley. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, friend and neighbor.

Donations may be made at www.gofundme.com/curesherry. Reference HLN in your comment. For a $25 donation, your name will be included in a drawing for a 7-night stay at The Cozy Cactus Bed and Breakfast in Sedona. Checks should be made to Sherry Miller and mailed to The Heart Link Network, Prescott Chapter, 8510 N. Valley Oak Drive, Prescott, AZ 86305.
