Yavapai County 4H/FFA Expo took place at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds from Thursday through Sunday. Brawley Darby, Janie Stevens, Hunter Narvesen and Chelsea Ludwig from the FFA program at Chino Valley High School participated with their pigs in this year's EXPO.

Narvesen received third place in showmanship with her pig Pickles and Ludwig received Reserve best of Class with Huckleberry. Stevens' won the Championship for her breed of pig, which was the overall best swine. Darby did not place with his pig, but did place in senior showmanship for his breed in the sheep show on Friday.

"I am really proud of all of the 4H and FFA members for all their hard work with their different projects and animals. They've done a great job and I saw a lot of quality livestock," said Casey Farnsworth, Chino Valley FFA Advisor. "I am also impressed with all of the buyers who purchased these kids' projects year after year. Bidding was great all throughout the EXPO auction, which meant a lot to these kids. With their support they can pay off their expenses and reinvest into next year's project, and hopefully make a little profit. Thank you!"

The Chino Valley Review invites all youth who showed at the EXPO to send a photo and their results to editor Heidi Dahms Foster at hdfoster@prescottaz.com. We'll print them in an upcoming issue and online at CVRnews.com.
