6/30/2010 7:12:00 AM Letter: Curves owner placing business on the market, thanks many
Correction: We inadvertently placed a misleading headline on this letter when it first published in the print edition. The Review wants to clarify that the business currently is on the market, not sold as the headline may have suggested. Our apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
It is with much regret and personal sadness that I inform you of my decision to sell Curves, Chino Valley.
Some may know that I was not the original franchisee when it opened January 2003. I came along in august 2003, made the purchase and began an exciting venture which has now come to an end.
Along the way, I've met many wonderful women who have successfully changed their lives for the better. My loyal staff members have inspired and supported these members, two of whom have lost more than 100 pounds. We have also helped women overcome physical difficulties, serious depression and hormonal dysfunction while acquiring a new attitude on how life becomes more manageable when you feel and look good through exercise. This wonderful business has become a Godsend to more than 2,000 members since 2003 and an asset to the community.
For now, wish me well. I am dealing with health issues which while not major, do require attention.
Overall, Curves facility needs someone with fresh ideas and a focus of the daily operation. Wishing all who have contributed to our success the very best.
