Letter: Son's reading room at library has brought education and fun

Editor:

The Grand Opening of our son's "Tyson Adam Kuhrt" Reading Room at the Chino Valley Library was Dec. 11, 2003, and the nine-year anniversary will be this Dec. 11.

This lovely room at the library has brought education, fun and even Mr. and Mrs. Claus. We offer our condolences to anyone who has had the loss of loved ones and we all know how extremely painful this journey without them affects each day.

My husband and I are happy to have a library room named after Tyson. We're happy that the room was very much needed. Without it, most of the programs would have been held in the Senior Center.

It's sad that a tragedy of this magnitude (the loss of our son) sometimes brings these opportunities forth, but our son will always be remembered. Tyson was a good person, and we miss him more than words can possibly express.
