Letter to the Editor: Head Start staff says 'thank you' to partners
Chino Valley Review

Editor:

The Chino Valley Head Start would like to thank our partners for the support of the families that we serve. We have so many caring people and organizations in our area that care about young children and their families, to name a few: Diane from the sewing guild, Joanne from the quilters, Darlene from the library, Cindy from the senior center, the Chino Fire Department, the Chino Police Department, Chris at Chino Parks and Rec, all the staff at the Chino Valley Post Office, Safeway, S & J Carpet Cleaning, the staff at Ability care program, the staff at The Learning Center, Lisa Grell and staff at the Cubbies at our school district special needs department. Indeed we all work together to support the families and our great community.

Thank you.

Dear Editor , April is child abuse month and we all want children to be safe. But one law enforcement agency went above and beyond helping our preschool. Deputy Scott Reed ,Yavapai County Sheriff came and taught the children Gun safety , Pool / Water safety and Bike safety. He was down at the children's level and they had turns helping. The staff learned ways to help children remember to be safe. Thank you Deputy Reed and his helper Little Do -Right the puppet.
Sincerely
Toni Flournoy , Director Chino Valley Head Start
