The Chino Valley track and field team competed in the Tiger Co-Ed relays at Millennium High School in Phoenix.

Top performers for the Lady Cougars were Jenny Ballard who placed second in the discus with a throw of 88' 9" and third in the shot put with a throw of 28' 1.75". Brooke Bell was fourth in the discus (72' 3"). The 4x1600m relay was second (27:28), the sprint medley (100, 100, 200, 400) was third (2:03.35), the distance medley (1200, 400, 800, 1600) was third (14:54), and the 4x70m shuttle hurdle relay team was third (1:04.95).

The boy's team was led by Tory Marciel, finishing in the two spot in the high jump (5' 10"), and third in the 100-meter dash (11.63).

Michael Brillhart finished third in the 110-meter hurdlers (18.15).

The 4x1600m relay team was third (21:32) and the 4x70m shuttle hurdle relay team placed third (49.54). The Cougars next compete at the Sedona Invitational on Saturday, April 6.
