Photos: Mighty Mites Cougar football team remains undefeated

The Mighty Mites played their first playoff game Saturday against the Prescott Valley Spartans on their home field. The Cougar Mighty Mites played hard and remain undefeated with a final score of 38-12. Near right, 7-year-old Kaden Wagner finds a hole during the fourth quarter of play Saturday at the Chino Valley High School field. Far right, 8-year-old Jaxton Mortenson runs the kickoff back for a Mighty Mites touchdown during the team's defeat of the Prescott Valley Spartans. "KIDS CARE TOO" will begin fundraising for the Chino Valley Meals on Wheels Program. This will be the kids 7th year creating holiday gift bags for the local seniors in our community. Last year the kids created gift bags for all seniors who receive Meals on Wheels in the Chino Valley area. This year we are asking for the communities help is raising either money used to buy items for the seniors, or donate items to put into the gift bags for the seniors. If you would like to help in any way please contact Cindy at 928 830-0195 or 928 277-2835. Kids are also welcome to particpate in creating the gift bags and delivering the gift bags on Christmas Eve.
