Mighty Mites remain undefeated with win over Williams Tigers

6-year-old Michael Taylor runs the ball for the undefeated Mighty Mite Cougars in their 34-7 win Saturday over the Williams Tigers. Also scoring for the Cougars were Westin Coelho, Joseph Knisely, Kaden Wagner, Kai Holmes, Ashton Loftin, and Isaiah Kimmerele. The boys would like to thank the Mighty Mite Cheerleaders for cheering them to victory. Left, Jaxton Trujillo-Mortensen carries the ball for the Minor Cougars in a previous game. The Minor Cougars suffered their first loss of the the year in a 37-30 game against the Williams Bengals.

I couldn't agree more! These kids are too young for continual praise! By the time they reach high school or beyond, they'll be washed up and over-rated! Focus on our High School Teams (and not just football)

As an alumni who has moved out of the area, I appreciate the sports coverage. However, I cannot understand why so much coverage on the juniors and little if any on the high school. I sure miss not being able to attend the games, from a friend I understand we won homecoming for the first time in years. Why no coverage by the hometown paper?
