Jessa ‘Jessie’ Naomy Hersh

Jessa "Jessie" Naomy Hersh died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in Chino Valley, Ariz. She was 9 years of age.

Jessa was born March 31, 2004, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Israel and Lareina Hersh. She lived in Chino Valley with her parents and five siblings, Julianna, Jazmyne, Jacoby, Joseph and Jeremiah. She was a fourth-grader at Mountain Oak School in Prescott.

She is survived by her parents, Israel and Lareina Hersh; three siblings, Jazmyne, Jacoby and Joseph; as well as grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m.

on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Lifepointe Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz. All guests are welcome.

There will be a graveside ceremony at 1:30 p.m. in the Arizona Pioneers Home Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Hersh Family Memorial Fund by contacting either Mountain Oak School, or Lifepointe Church.

The family wishes to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the government, citizens and businesses of the quad-city area for bearing our burdens as your own. Special thanks go to Sunrise Funeral Home, Arizona Pioneers Home Cemetery, Lifepointe Church and Mountain Oak School.

We love you Hersh family and think about you constantly. We send you peace and hope that you are blessed with some sort of comfort in this horror. We are so sorry. Your angels have their wings now.
