Chino Valley Review
Chino Valley teen Aubrey Toler has won the 2014 Miss Flagstaff Pro Rodeo Queen title.
On June 27-29, Aubrey, 17, a Chino Valley High School senior, kicked off her year at Fort Tuthill County Park and rodeo grounds for the first Flagstaff Pro Rodeo there in five years.
For a year, Aubrey will represent the Flagstaff Pro Rodeo throughout Arizona at Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeos, parades and community events. Rodeos are in Payson, Scottsdale, Tucson, Cave Creek, Kingman, Yuma and more. At rodeos, she rides in the grand entry "hot laps." She also is involved in community events and community service, such as visiting the elderly in nursing homes.
To win the queen title, Aubrey competed in a pageant in speech, modeling, appearance, photogenic, interview and horsemanship.
Last year, Aubrey reigned as a member of the Senior Court of the Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo. At the end of her reign, she will compete at the state rodeo queen level.
Aubrey grew up riding horses and was involved in 4-H and gymkhanas.
She is the daughter of Darrell and Senette Buntin of Chino Valley.
