Tyrell Mier

Tyrell Mier graduated Army Basic Combat Training from Ft. Jackson, S.C., in April. He then graduated AIT at Ft. Lee, Va., in July, receiving the Army Achievement Medal, advancing to the H8 Recovery School. After graduating H8 in August, he proceeded to Ft. Benning, Ga., where he earned his Airborne wings Sept. 13. PV2 Mier is now attached to the 82nd Airborne Division, 3rd Brigade Combat Team at Ft. Bragg, N.C.

The paratrooper is a 2011 graduate of Chino Valley High School.

He is the son of Junior and Debbi Mier of Chino Valley.
