A Chino Valley Fire District crew, along with Life Line Ambulance responded to a call on Center Street at about 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 to treat a three-month old girl who suffered injuries from an accidental fall.

When crews arrived at the family's home, they found the child unconscious, said CVFD Battalion Chief Mat Mayhall. A Native Air helicopter was dispatched to transport the infant to Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Mayhall said the child regained consciousness while being transported by ambulance to the landing zone just a few hundred yards away at the Chino Valley High School football field.
