The American Legion, Post 40, 650 E. Road 3 South, in Chino Valley hosts a Pasta Night on the first Friday of each month. This dinner is open to the public.
The event benefits the Chino Valley High School Army STAR (Students Taking Active Roles) Club.
Chino Valley High School has applied to be awarded a Jr. ROTC and have adopted an Army STAR Club in the interim.
The December dinner honors the Christmas season in a uniquely Italian manner. They will start with Insalata Caprise ( a salad of sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese with olive oil and fresh basil).The second course will be giant shells stuffed with crabmeat, with Italian cheeses and spinach, served with linguine. Both topped with al fredo sauce. For dessert, Profiteroles will be served (cream puffs topped with hot chocolate sauce.)
Dinner is served at 7 p.m. sharp. Tickets are $13.50 and are available in the Club room at the Post until Dec. 4. Call 636-2020.
