The Chino Valley Children's Library group had a special visitor on Monday, March 11, when Dana "Mountain Man" Dore stopped by.

Dore, who along with wife, Kathi, own Kathi's Books on Perkinsville Road, entertained the kids and their parents with tales of Old West living and demonstrated various trapper and survival techniques.

He brought along several items, including animal skins, knives and tools from a bygone era.

Call 928-636-9115 for information on all Children's Library activities, including the model exhibit scheduled for today, March 13, at 9:30 a.m.
